Friendly staff, especially Joel at reception who carried a heavy suitcase upstairs, arranged laundry services and kept luggage secure during the 5-day Salkantay trek. Breakfast was continental style with fresh fruit, fresh bread, sweetened yogurt, mixed fruits, cow cheese, ham, dry puffed cereal and three teas. The room was spacious and semi-luxury with a very good mattress, warm blanket and heater in room 403. The bathroom had hot water almost instantly after opening the shower. Location was close to downtown Cusco but away from busy streets with numerous restaurants nearby on the same street.
