The Chamonix Wine Estate and Accommodation is located approximately 5 km from the charming town of Franschhoek, making a vehicle essential for guests as the accommodations are spread throughout the estate. Chamonix provides several lodging options, all tastefully decorated and fully equipped, featuring stunning views. Some rooms include a seating area ideal for relaxation, while select accommodations provide picturesque views of the mountains or lake. Each room includes a private bathroom, complete with complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer, and boasts a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Stellenbosch is just a 35-minute drive away, and Cape Town International Airport is situated 72 km from the estate. Due to the sprawling nature of the property, a vehicle is necessary for getting around.

Please note that Chamonix has discontinued Game Drives. Only the Two Executive Suites in the Marco Polo Lodge have a separate door leading to the patio, which is not exclusively private, as Standard Rooms also share access to this area.

Currently, Chamonix is in the process of planting new vineyards, resulting in the presence of heavy machinery working on the estate. Furthermore, please be advised that Chamonix no longer offers Game or the Game Reserve on the property.
