This traditional Bavarian guest house, Gasthof Höhenrain, is located in the scenic mountain village of Grainau. It is positioned 5 km from the winter sports hub of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and 4 km from the beautiful Eibsee Lake. The establishment first opened its doors in 1922 and underwent renovations, reopening in May 2017.

The guest house features well-furnished rooms designed in a cozy, eco-friendly manner. Many accommodations offer stunning views of the Wetterstein mountain range and the Zugspitze peak. A new, spacious breakfast room has been added as of January 2018.
