For those who wish to dine late when everything is closed, we are conveniently located only 15 meters from the COPEC gas station (directly across the street), where food, coffee, tea, drinks, and other items are available 24 hours a day. There are 3 free parking spaces available, but a request must be made at the time of booking.
For added safety, the hostel is equipped with security cameras inside and outside, situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Hostal Solor is located 100 km from Calama International Airport. We look forward to welcoming you and assisting you with anything you need!
LOCAL TAX LAWS. Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident aliens are required to pay an additional tax (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this additional tax, payment must be made in U.S. dollars (hopefully in cash) and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. This additional fee (VAT) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.
Please note that payments at the hostel by credit or debit card incur a 3.8% fee which will be added to your total rate. We always recommend paying in cash to avoid extra charges. It is also advisable to check that your bills are in good condition, as San Pedro de Atacama rejects dollars with stains, stamps, wear and tear or cut bills.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time.
