Please note that Wilson Island is accessible by boat from Heron Island. The transfer between Wilson Island and Heron Island is included in the accommodation but guests will still need to make their way to Heron Island.
The boat to Wilson Island departs Heron Island at approximately 2.00 pm. The return transfer will depart Wilson Island at approximately 10.00 am. Heron Island is accessible by boat and helicopter from Gladstone. The boat transfer will depart Gladstone Marina for Heron Island at 09:30 daily, except Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The return boat transfer will depart from Heron Island at 12:45 daily, except Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. The Heron Islander does not be operating on Christmas Day. The cost of the transfer on the Heron Islander is AUD 85 per adult one-way and AUD 45 per child one-way. Please contact the Heron Island Reservations team to make your transfer booking.

An Environmental Management Charge (EMC) of AUD 7.00 per person per day (for guests 5 years and older) to a maximum of AUD 21.00 per person per stay will be charged direct to guests. Price is subject to change.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. At Wilson Island, you may use the Special Requests box during booking or directly contact the property using the contact details provided in your confirmation.
