From 1 January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night applies to all foreign guests at The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort. This tax is not included in the room rate at The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort and must be paid at check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or permanent resident MY PR Card are exempt from this charge at The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort. Please note that all guests are subject to a Marine Park Conservation fee upon arrival.
Ferry schedule:
- From Merang Waterfront Jetty to Redang Island (12:30, 14:30, and 16:30)
- From Redang Island to Merang Waterfront Jetty (8:00, 10:00 and 12:00)
