The Well guesthouse gets its quirky name from the original well that sits right in the restaurant floor. Yep, you read that right! They've fitted bulletproof glass over it, so you can safely stand right on top and peek down the impressive 30-meter drop of this fascinating feature.

Established way back in 1658, this traditional coaching inn is conveniently located on the Ridgeway path, the oldest road in Europe. Just a stone's throw from the A346, you're only about 5 minutes from junction 15 of the M4 motorway, which makes it super accessible.

Twilight calls for an arranged dinner served at 19:00, where you can enjoy some drinks – be it soft drinks, beer, or wine. For dinner, you can choose from three delicious main courses starting at only £18. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, desserts and sweets are offered at £8. And if you’re planning a day out, packed lunches are available for £8, all ready to go when you arrive.
